When we first visited this client's home, the living room felt lacklustre and outdated. Our goal was to create a space that was both stylish and comfortable, a place where the family could relax and entertain guests.
The Design Process
We began by listening carefully to our client's wishes and preferences. They expressed a desire for a modern, yet cozy atmosphere, with a focus on neutral tones and luxurious textures. We took these elements into consideration and developed a design concept that would bring their vision to life.
Custom-Made Furniture
One of the key elements of this project was the custom-made furniture. We designed and manufactured a bespoke media unit that incorporated a stylish electric fireplace and a built-in TV. The unit also featured ample storage space and shelves for displaying decorative items. To complement the media unit, we created a matching footstool adding a luxury feel to the living space.
Soft Furnishings
We chose a warm neutral colour palette for the wallpaper and flooring, providing a clean and inviting backdrop for the more vibrant elements of the room. A luxurious Calvin Klein rug in a soft beige tone was added to bring depth into the room. while custom-made Roman blinds in a coordinating fabric completed the window treatments.
Accessories and Lighting
To add more personality and warmth to the space, we introduced a variety of decorative accessories. A stunning round crystal chandelier was installed on the ceiling, creating a focal point and adding a touch of glamour. A collection of matching cushions in various patterns and textures brought life to the seating area, while a beautiful piece of artwork completed the look.
The Results
The transformation of this living room is truly remarkable. The once-dull space has been revitalized with a fresh and modern aesthetic. The custom-made furniture adds a touch of sophistication, while the soft furnishings and accessories create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The space is now a perfect place for relaxation, entertainment, and family gatherings.
