Autumn gets me excited.
Like really excited.
Happy October everyone!
I cannot believe it is October already, where has this year gone?! To be fair it has felt like Autumn over here in N. Ireland for a while now as the sun only decides to make a rare appearance so we’re pretty used to the cold weather!
I’m actually really embracing being in the Autumnal spirit this year, I mean there are also many things to look forward to! Drinking pumpkin spiced lattes, redecorating your home and making it look and feel nice and cosy, long morning walks in the fresh crisp cold air, and of course Halloween! it gets me so excited.
Like really excited.
The Fairhill collection.
I actually took a walk around Portglenone forest the other day which inspired me to write this post.
It has been ages since I have visited the forest but I am so glad I did, the views were spectacular as always and it was so refreshing to breath in the fresh Autumn air, feel the crunch of the leaves beneath my feet and witness the leaves changing to beautiful reds, oranges, browns and yellows.
So when I got home I knew my visit had inspired and reminded me of something familar and it popped into my head – the new Fairhill collection from Ashley Wilde.
Funny enough the name itself is a definite reminder of my hometown as Fairhill is the name of one of the largest shopping centres in Ballymena but the stunning colour palettes and textures within this collection are a subtle but beautiful reminder of the many elements of nature here in Ballymena that we mostly overlook and should really appreciate more! From bold leaf patterns to vibrant vine elements, this collection is certainly one of my favourites this Autumn!
