Exciting times here in Pennybridge as we ready the business for our next big step.
From 2nd of September The Fabric Gallery will become Laurie Mac Interiors.
Over the last 3 years that I’ve been involved with the business we’ve seen a lot of changes, moving premises to our gorgeous new design studio within Village Blinds in Ballymena, and a gradual move away from the old fabric on a roll shop to a full service interior design business.
We’ve added some gorgeous new brands including Black Edition fabrics and wallcoverings, Orla Kiely, BN Walls, Engblad & Co, Elizabeth Ockford and Porter’s Paints. These new brands sit perfectly with our cornerstone brands such as Voyage, Villa Nova, Ashley Wilde, Clarke and Clarke and Prestigious Textiles.
Just as our range has grown, so to has our confidence in the interiors space. We’ve been lucky enough to work on some amazing projects for our wonderful clients in the last year or so as word has spread about our services.
A large part of our success is down to our talented production team whose skills are much sought after. I can honestly say I regard Heather and Doreen as the best curtain makers in the country. Their insight and ability to create beautiful pieces is a blessing.
The last couple of years have been a real learning experience for me too but I have put that time to great use. All the time soaking up as much knowledge as possible as I go along, building a firm foundation for Laurie Mac Interiors.
